These disciplines do not have to stay separated, but rather mix themselves with each other and start to interact. For example is design supporting the usability of our software, which could be the centerpiece of a future marketing campaign.
Not the necessity, but rather the unlimited possibilities in the interaction of our abilities, on which our cross-media support is based, is what fascinates us.
Modesty is a virtue, so we will just mention the awards we have won in the past years for completeness: red dot, if design, ADC, TDC and the Adobe Design Achievement Award. Not only the judges of the competition, but companies like Adobe, DURAN, ZDF and the German post appreciate our work.
We are experts - we consider new projects as a challenge.
We experienced that best results are achieved by ideal collaboration. That is why we demand much and set high standards, not only on us, but on our clients, too.
According to this, we would like to abandon the stereotypes of client and contractor and rather concentrate on a cooperative smybiosis between our clients and us. Starting a new project, we like to commence project phases well structured, targeted and solution-orientated.
Though the notion of perfection is our engine and motivation to work, it rarely satisfies us. We may always find something to work on but that is exactly what makes our work better at the end of the day.
Ever since the establishment of LABOR in 2003 we work as a full-service agency in the disciplines of design, software and marketing.
The management is composed of its owners, namely Mathias Vogel (Dipl. Designer), Stephan Powilat (Dipl. Designer), Arnfried Weber (B.A. in informatics) and Florian Lange (IT specialist). Varying trainees and freelance collaborators are strengthening our team and enrich LABOR.
Our seat in Nordhafen provides us with enough possibilities to get support by creatives of other specializations. Over the years we have cooperated with colleagues from animation, photography, illustration and copy writing - for doing so, we merely have to step outside our agency and knock next door.
Of course, we are always delighted to receive applications from talented and enthusiastic aspirants, because there is still a lot of work to do.
The story of our network is the story of Nordhafen.
It began with the need to create free space to think, to work and to experiment. Soon we discovered a wonderful building, the old Blendax factory in Mainz Zollhafen. It was love at first sight. That was in 2007. Today, more than 50 creatives from the communication and media industry are sharing the Nordhafen area with us. Nordhafen has become a promising hub for creativity. Hereon we are proud and await everything that might develop in the future with anticipation.
