Our design forms identities, develops brandings, translates complex issues into simple pictures and arouses emotions. We still love combining different media with each other to create a lively and tangible design. By the time we could not only convince our clients and commissioners but international awards like the ADC, TDC or red dot took pleasure and honored our work.

Information graphics
The sophisticated demand on this task was to design significant information graphics, based on the information about Germany‘s export and import gathered by the German Federal Statistical Office.
Im- and export economical goods
Im- and export weapons
Close-up economical goods
Based on those results, we created a 130-pages report about the ten most important non-EU trading partners.

Visual concept:
We developed a modular construction system made of isometric icons, shapes and color coding. At first the shapes were drawn, afterwards digitalized.
Focus are automatically the colorful, yet sometimes cute, pictorical graphics.
But of course it was a necessary to comment on the aspects of human rights in the respective partner countries. The reader „stumbles“ upon marginal text passages and barcodes.
Every country has associated barcodes, that can be read via an USB-barcode scanner. We used the possibility to let the reader illuminate the world behind the facade by decoding the barcodes. By scanning the barcodes, the reader receives instead of information about the price, information about the human rights situation in the respective country.
