„Cubes and Colors“ campaign

By conceiving Adobe Design Achievement Awards campaign 2008 it was necessary to create a viral and lively campaign, mainly focused on the internet. Centerpiece was the animation for the awards show and the implementation of an interactive Live-Gallery, updating the submissions in real time. But also the design of the traditional media like the posters, post cards and program guides were a lot of fun to us.

"Cubes & Colors"

We decided to choose an isometric cube as our foundation. We designed 12 isometric icons and a color coding, fitting the respective categories. We liked the idea of simple shapes and colors that could be composed like parts of a construction kit.

Campaign poster

Call-for-entries-poster, DIN A3. We separated text and illustration on purpose, because the poster had to be translated in more than ten languages.

ADAA Live!

Asking ourselves how a lively and growing competition could be visualized, we developed a data based flash application, hosting the submissions. The application works as a sort of online art gallery
